What is the current mask policy?
Effective 5/1/22, masks are optional (but recommended) for all employees, crew members, and customers inside the U.S. and on board all transportation domestically, as well as on most international transport/flights.
What happens if I arrive early in the first city?
Most hotels expect departing guests to vacate rooms by 12:00 P.M. and arriving guests to check-in after 3:00 P.M. to allow for housekeeping services. If you arrive prior to the hotel’s check-in time, inquire about leaving your bags with the front desk or bellman.
What happens if I am delayed?
If you are delayed and you will not be able to meet the group at the designated time and
location detailed in the itinerary, please call our office at 800-662-4424 so we may inform the tour host and make appropriate plans. If you are unable to contact us, instructions will be waiting for you at the front desk.
When should I check-in at the airport?
You should contact the airline 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure to reconfirm flight numbers and departure times. Please be sure to travel with a Government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) which the airlines require. It is important to check-in at least 90 minutes prior to departure. All times are local, as observed in each city. Please be prepared for additional costs imposed by the airlines for checked luggage. Contact the carrier for specific questions.
Frequent Flyers: Please provide the airline agent with your frequent flyer number(s) upon airport check-in. We are not responsible for frequent flyer mileage that is not credited.
How do you handle in-room hotel charges?
Upon check-in at each hotel, please provide the front desk clerk with your credit card to cover any incidental expenses incurred during your stay.
How should I dress?
We recommend casual dress for your Road Trip. You should bring comfortable walking shoes for sightseeing and a light jacket or sweater for evenings.
What kind of tickets are included?
Generally, seats are located in the upper levels between the bases or in the lower level
outfield, pending availability. Lower level seats between the bases are most often season ticket holder seats. The ballpark, day of the week, and the number of season ticket holders determine available seat locations.
Are Gratuities Included?
The cost of your Road Trip does not include the customary gratuities for the tour host(s)
and/or bus driver(s). These gratuities are voluntary and should be extended on an individual basis depending upon your degree of satisfaction with the services received. Many of our clients have asked us for recommended tipping guidelines. For complete satisfaction, we suggest $5 to $8 per person, per tour day, and the same for your driver. For airport transfers or one-day excursions, a $1 or $2 per person is average, once again pending services received. When applicable, it is also customary to acknowledge a particularly good performance by a local step-on guide by leaving a tip of $1 or $2 per person. Gratuity envelopes for your tour host(s) and/or bus driver(s) will be handed out at check-in.
